The following materials can be used to practice nonverbal communication as well as following instructions.
Page 1: The phrases on this page can be taught and then cut out to play a charades – style game.
Page 2 – 5: The pictures on these pages correspond to pictures found in the Student Workbook on page 5. Use these images to reinforce the instructions they portray. The visuals can be used as a trigger for students to state the instruction. Conversely, a teacher can say the instruction while the student produces the appropriate picture.
